ISI Inspection Report 2025

We are delighted to share with you the latest Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection report 2025 for Town Close School. All standards were met and we are pleased to have been awarded the accolade of 'a significant strength'  by the inspection team, who recognised our commitment to ensuring the values of 'The Town Close Way' have a positive impact in supporting our children to not only become great pupils, but more importantly great people.

ISI Inspection Report 2022

Town Close School received a ‘Focused Compliance and Educational Quality’ Inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in February 2022, in which the School returned the highest grading possible of ‘excellent’ across both categories of educational quality, whilst also confirming our compliance in all areas of the Focused Compliance Inspection. The reports of the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) not only represent a very reliable indicator of each school’s quality but, in the absence of ‘league tables’, they provide a vital guide to help parents identify the sector’s top-performing Prep/Junior Schools in the country. The report confirms Town Close to be an exceptional school – not only in comparison with others in Norfolk, but as one of a small number nationally to have been graded excellent/outstanding in every single element covered by the latest Educational Quality Inspection.
