We were delighted to welcome children’s author, Dominque Valente, into School to visit our Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 as well as children from local schools, Edith Cavell Academy and Charles Darwin Nursery.

Dominque introduced her new magical adventure book, ‘Witchspark’, and the inspiration behind it before setting the children a collective challenge to come up with their own idea for a book using the 5 story fundamentals of:

1. Conflict

2. Plot

3. Characters

4. Setting

5. Theme
