Easter Activity Morning

What a fun filled morning we all had and thankfully the rain held off. Children delighted in the Easter activities. They were busy painting wooden eggs, making bonnets, decorating biscuits and making Easter cards, to name but a few. The scrumptious cakes kindly supplied by parents were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Our wonderful Easter Bunny was loved by all the children and he went home with many Easter cards given to him by them. Again our school face painters were hugely successful and we had many rabbits, chicks and the odd tiger in the school garden for the Easter egg hunt.

This is now becoming a favourite event for all our PTA members. We really do hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. Thank you all for your support. Without your cake contributions we would not have raised as much money as we did.

PTA Bingo Night

If you wanted a quiet night in last Friday, then Town Close PTA Bingo Night was NOT the place to be. With raucous cheers to 'Lee's Bingo' the evening got off to a flying start. We quickly had our first line win. Late arrival John Harrad had our first full house as soon as he sat down. Had his PTA wife Charlotte fixed this ? I hear you ask...We will never know!

Hamish, Oscar, Susan and Seb were our very professional Year 8 callers and were equally as good as our more experienced older experts. Half-time break saw everyone tucking into sandwiches, crisps and filling their wine glasses from the bar. The tuck shop sold out!! (l can't say that this is a first)

This was a wonderful evening that brought families, the school and teachers together.
