Easter Hats Assembly in the Pre Prep

Everyone enjoyed our Easter Hats Assembly including Mrs Stackwood, who helped choose the prizes. A collection was made for our charity, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.

Toys and Tins for Christmas

We presented a large collection of gifts to the Salvation Army 'Toys and Tins Appeal' during today's Assembly.

Royal Wedding Lunch in Pre Prep

We celebrated the Royal Wedding with a very special, favourite lunch and toasted the Royal Couple!

Fun Run Assembly in Pre Prep

We had an Assembly in Pre Prep and talked about why we were celebrating the Royal Wedding by having a Fun Run to raise money for children less fortunate than ourselves. We are supporting Childreach International this year as our School charity and the children and parents have been sending in money.

Celebrating Weddings

In the Pre Prep we have been thinking about weddings and preparing for our special celebrations on Thursday. We had a special Assembly talking about weddings in different parts of the world. We had several examples of wedding dresses modelled for us. We will all be taking part in a special Royal Fun Run in aid of the School's chosen charity, Childreach International, and enjoying our own Wedding Breakfast.

Creative Literacy in Year 1

IK really enjoyed writing stories about Sita and Rama following a very thought provoking 'hot seat' activity.

‘Toys and Tins for Christmas’

The children and their parents made a huge effort to support the Salvation Army’s Christmas appeal for toys and tins. Here are some of our children sitting in front of tour enormous display of presents before they were collected and taken away to share with needy families at Christmas time.

Pre- Prep Harvest Assembly – Monday 18th October 2010

On Monday 18th October 2010, the Pre Prep celebrated Harvest. The children were asked to bring in contributions for a Harvest display. We liaised with the Salvation Army about donating our gifts to those less fortunate in Norfolk. As a result, rather than overwhelming them with fresh produce, our gifts were made up of tins and packets. We had a Harvest story and sang some favourite songs. The Salvation Army came and collected our donations later that morning.
