WELCOME TO TOWN CLOSE SCHOOL
It is with pleasure that I invite you, through this website, to get a glimpse of life at Town Close School, which is a co-educational preparatory school for children aged 3 to 13. Last inspected in November 2011, the School was adjudged to be outstanding in every single aspect (twelve in total), which places us in a very select band, among the finest schools in the country.
We value our individual girls and boys for the breadth and variety of their talents, and celebrate effort and commitment in every part of school life. Preparing our children for the future is at the heart of all we do so that when the time comes for them to leave Town Close School, they move seamlessly into very good senior schools locally and nationally, a good many celebrating scholarship success in a variety of subject areas. Central to this success is the quality of the School’s teaching, which was graded 'outstanding' throughout the School and across the whole curriculum.
Our beautiful, wooded, fifteen acre site near Norwich city centre, gives all our children space and freedom, and contributes substantially to our reputation as an outstandingly happy school. We enjoy the very best of modern facilities, but more important still, is the sense of community that exists here. Of course, the only way to get a feel for this is to visit and, should you decide to do so, I would be delighted to show you round and provide an opportunity for you to meet my colleagues and our pupils.
